Tracking Judge Inge Suchanek
I have been involved in AKC dog sports since 1975 when I started showing Shetland Sheepdogs in Obedience as a junior handler.  I have taught obedience, agility and tracking through my involvement in local clubs as well as 4-H youth groups. I started Tracking over fifteen years ago, and was thrilled to earn my first Champion Tracker (CT) title in 2009 on my Labrador retriever Trapper. In 2013 I earned my second Champion Tracker title on my Sheltie, Finn. Throughout the years, I have titled many Shetland Sheepdogs and Labrador Retrievers in Tracking, Obedience, Agility, Rally, and Hunt Tests.  I enjoy watching exhibitors in tracking tests, witnessing the silent communication between the teams and the joy when the final article is successfully delivered to the handler. My husband and I currently own four dogs, one Labrador (Trapper) and three Shelties, (Finn, Reid and Ari).  Trapper is retired and enjoys his days keeping us company and getting treats. Finn (CT) is working in obedience and agility. Reid recently earned his TD and is working on TDX/VST as well as agility and obedience. Ari is our baby and is just starting in her training for obedience, agility and of course tracking!
