The AKC was founded in 1884, and the purpose of the ABMC Conformation Hall of Fame is to recognize dogs who have attained outstanding achievements in AKC Conformation.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be inducted into the ABMC Conformation Hall of Fame a dog must have earned 50 points from the table below.   <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition:
1. The owner of the dog must be a member of the ABMC, or have been a member of ABMC during the time the dog was being exhibited
2. Proof of points earned *\u00a0
3. A copy of the dog\u2019s AKC registration papers has been submitted
4. A photograph of the dog has been submitted
5. After<\/strong> the HOF chair has verified that all the above requirements have been met, a Jotform HOF application for the dog must also be submitted. \u00a0The HOF chair will either complete the Jotform themselves, or provide that URL for the owner to complete.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inductions into the Halls of Fame are made at the National Specialty occurring in the calendar year following<\/strong> the year the qualifying title was earned and retroactive applications based on the qualifying title being earned in a previous year are also accepted.  The application, requested materials, and Jotform must all be received by February 1st  in order for the dog to be inducted at that calendar year’s  National Specialty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contact the HOF Conformation Chair Allison Bath conformation@malinoisclub.com<\/a> to apply. To have a HOF dog’s AKC titles updated, email a website volunteer<\/a> with the dog’s AKC registration number.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

*The ABMC has not maintained a historical record of past wins of every dog.   If your dog has qualified for the Conformation Hall of Fame you must submit proof of the points earned to the Chair of the Conformation committee, Allison Ward.  Please define which wins qualifies your dog and the committee will verify the required points and enter the dog into the Conformation Hall of Fame.  The most expedient means of supplying proof is a Points and Awards report<\/a> available from AKC.  Other forms of proof may be accepted but you must contact the Conformation HOF chair to arrange this.  Once the dog is entered into the Conformation Hall of Fame, the records submitted as proof will not be stored by the Conformation Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
