ABMC Event Procedures
Event Approval Procedures for American Belgian Malinois Club

All events that are held through or for the American Belgian Malinois Club must have board approval. This includes but is not restricted to: supported entries, regional specialties, obedience trials, agility trials, rally trials, tracking trials, seminars, training matches, and any other event that uses the ABMC name.

To obtain board approval for any event a proposal and a proposed budget must be submitted to the board at least six (6) weeks prior to the application deadline.

The proposal should, at a minimum, state:
Type of event
Date of event
Event committee with each committee members duties
Classes offered
Entry fees
Advertising plans (at a minimum event should be published in the Performer and on the club’s website)
Fundraising plans (where necessary)

The proposed budget should, at a minimum, state:
Show all expected income
Show detailed expenditures (all expenditures must have acceptable receipts…see example)
Sound fiscal management principals should be used
