Judge Virginia Kinion

My name is Virginia Kinion but everyone calls me Ginger. I began showing dogs in obedience in 1983 and have been judging since 1993. I have put titles on twelve different dogs including seven utility titles ,two OTCh’s., and several rally titles. I am a widow, have two children and four grandchildren. Today I make my home in St. Charles, Missouri, with three shelties and a Tibetan terrier. My hobbies include training and showing dogs plus teaching classes in dog training. I also love reading, movies and my number one passion the St. Louis baseball Cardinals. My dogs are all named after baseball players. For 26 years I taught elementary school and retired in 2001. I really enjoy judging and love when exhibitors meet their goals. I want all exhibitors to have fun, feel relaxed, and always smile when they enter and leave the ring. It is an honor to be invited to judge your National Specialty.

Judge James Comunale

I am very pleased to be judging for the American Belgian Malinois Club!  Judging has become my dominant dog activity in recent years after over 30 years of showing heavily in Obedience.  My primary breed has been Golden Retrievers (having taken 5 of them to the OTCH title and numerous other accomplishments) but I have also sprinkled in one Sheltie (who also attained her OTCH) and currently have added a wild Border Collie (yes, wilder than most!).  It’s the Border Collie who is making me humble, wondering what I may have gotten myself into, but I thoroughly enjoy the challenge he presents (most of the time!).   I judge all classes of AKC Obedience and Rally as well as UKC Obedience.  I love seeing and judging many different teams, at many different levels of accomplishment and with many different goals.  There is a place for everyone in the sport.  Good luck to all exhibitors and let’s all try to have fun!
